Every year late in the summer in Wichita Falls you usually start to taste and smell a musty odor in your water.

But that hasn’t been the case this year.

It’s something the city has worked hard on so it doesn’t happen.

There’s still time for it, but it’s unlikely.

Despite it tasting good enough to drink, that can’t be said for years past dating back to as long as Operations Manager of Public Utilities Daniel Nix can remember.
