Every year the City of Wichita Falls does what they can to help low to moderate income families with the programs they use, the houses they live in, and the parks they play at.
“Take an individual who has a problem with their water heater or a leaking sewer line in their yard and they don’t have the funds to fix it,” Administrator of Neighborhood Resources, Michael Uriniak said. “When you get down to that personal level, it does make a difference in an individual person’s life.
They do it with money they receive from the Community Development Block Grant and the Home Program.
